Growing up in Springfield, Mass., Paul Boland became involved in the local theatre scene. He averaged 6 plays a year for 4 years. He continued to do theatre when he moved out to Los Angeles and joined an improve group called the AKomic Kazies.” After touring the nightclub and college circuit, Boland branched out on his own. His first break came when he appeared as the very first guest on ABC’s Into the Night. Since then he has made several television appearances and was featured as the announcer on the new Match Game, where everyday he had the chance to cut up with such stars as Michael Burger, George Hamilton and even Coolio. Most recently, he filled in for Rod Roddy as announcer on the CBS show The Price is Right!
