When Jon Dorenbos is on stage, through his unbelievable magic, he emphasizes the importance of choice and openly shares his childhood tragedy. When he was twelve, his picture-perfect family was destroyed after his father murdered his mother. Jon chose to rise through adversity, set goals (no matter how high), and plan and execute the necessary steps required to accomplish these goals. He started learning magic at the age of twelve and is now considered a “master magician”, earning the respect of top magicians everywhere as well as the casinos in Las Vegas, where he earns thousands of dollars an hour. He had his first paying gig in LasVegas when he was still in his teens.

After college, he was signed as a long snapper by the Buffalo Bills in 2003 as an undrafted free agent (and a long-shot at that). His first two years in the NFL he started for the Bills, and in 2004 lead the league in tackles at his position. In 2005, he started for the Tennessee Titans. He is currently active as a free agent.

As an entertainer of 15 years, Jon is known as the “NFL’s Magician” and is respectfully referred to as the “Entertainer’s Entertainer”. He hasperformed at countless charity events for celebrities such as Chris Berman, Chris McDonald, Scott Rosenberg, Michael DeLuca, Joe Theisman and Lindsey Lohan, and is the preferred magician for Garth Brooks, Magic Johnson, Drew Bledsoe, Joe Montana, Dan Marino, Jim Kelly and Jensen Ackles.  As a disc jockey, Jon was featured on 103.3, The Edge, in New York. As a professional speaker, he has motivated and wowed audiences such as the NFL, Screen Writers Guild, Merrill Lynch, World Savings, CibaVision and True Value.

Jon’s inspirational life story of triumph over adversity has been retold on national television in features by HBO, FOX Sports, ESPN, E! True Hollywood Story: An American Story, ABC, and CBS. He has also been a frequent guest on Buffalo Bills: All Access.

While performing the most amazing magic most have ever seen, Jon Dorenbos tailors his presentations to fit the needs of his audience. He inspires others by sharing his life experiences and NFL stories, relating them to corporate culture. He discusses the importance of discipline, teamwork, perseverance and the acceptance of failure in achieving a common goal. In his words, “Those who accept failure rise above it.”

I told Jon, anytime I have an event, feel free, you have an open invitation. People gravitate towards him, it starts with 2 or 3 people, then 10, then 20.  Next thing you know, nobody is listening to the band and everyone is surrounding Jon. His life experiences and determination separate him from the rest, and he is able to share that with everyone on stage.
